OUR STORY

Modesty Walks was birthed in 2024 by Pastor Terri L. Bea-Sopher, a woman with a vision—to create a community where women don’t just survive, but rise, soar, and shine in every area of their lives. Fueled by faith and a calling to empower, she believed it was time for women to reclaim their God-given worth. At the heart of Modesty Walks is a bold truth: you are valued, you are victorious, and you are vital—not just to the world, but to the very heart of God.
This program isn’t just about modeling or posture—it’s about purpose. From job training and self-defense to Christian character and grace-filled decorum, Modesty Walks equips young women to walk boldly in truth, confidence, and calling. It was created to reframe the fractured mindsets that too many carry—the labels, the lies, the shame. We speak to the soul and say: God always has YOU on His mind.
Modesty Walks is a haven. A place where sisterhood is sacred and “birds of a feather flock together” takes on new meaning—we raise eagles here. We celebrate uniqueness, teach emotional and spiritual resilience, and help each woman embrace who she is without comparison or compromise.
We are NOT the same, and that is our strength.
Together, we build:
-
Confidence & Courage through every step
-
Wisdom & Strength through biblical guidance
-
Community & Safety in both heart and space
-
Freedom & Faith that break generational labels
-
Elevation & Empowerment rooted in God’s truth
We invite you to partner with us, sponsor this mission, or bring the Modesty Walks program to your organization. Let's change the narrative—for this generation and the next.
Because when women walk in purpose, the world watches differently.

Our Foundation is Christian.
-
Everything we do—our fashion shows, training, workshops, and service—is rooted in prayer, Scripture, and Christian values.

You do not need to be a Christian to participate, but you do need to understand that our message and atmosphere will always be Christ-centered.
-
Respect the Faith Context.
-
We ask that you do not use Modesty Walks programs or events to promote outside causes, beliefs, or agendas that contradict our Christian foundation.
-
You are welcome to attend and learn, but this is not the place for debate, disruption, or pushing alternative messages.
-
Support Leadership.
-
Our leaders are guided by prayer and the Word of God. Members and participants agree not to undermine leadership or publicly contradict the mission.
-
Walk in Love.
-
Even when standards are upheld, we commit to speak and act with love, grace, and respect. Everyone who enters is treated with dignity, because every person is made in the image of God (Gen. 1:27).
